There’s nothing more romantic than an elegant, classic Rhode Island Newport Beach House summer wedding.  

Lauren and Daniele tied the knot with an intimate group of family and friends who gathered to share in the joy amid the salt, sand, and sea. It was beautiful to see the close connections between the couple and their parents and siblings, with lots of love and intention effortlessly flowing throughout the gathering. 

I love any opportunity to shoot at Newport Beach House thanks to the stunning location and the venue’s dedication to taking care of every vendor who steps through their doors, so when the talented Sarah Surette asked me to second shoot for her it was an easy yes. 

Capturing the emotional, sweet moments throughout Lauren and Daniele’s day ended with a Ben + Jerry’s ice cream bar for dessert. I loved the special touch, and Sarah and I decided to enjoy our ice cream on the beach before heading home. On the way down the ramp to the beach I absolutely ate it when I accidentally stepped into a ditch! Probably should have used some additional lighting, but the ice cream was unharmed and we still die laughing at the memory of me taking a serious tumble.

Beachside falls aside, I love how the natural beauty of the spectacular Newport Beach House was highlighted by the romantic floral choices and clean, classic décor choices Lauren and Daniele made. And even the most stunning beachside venue couldn’t compete with the sweet love and joy that radiated from the couple all day.
