Amenities at the Atlantic Resort

The Atlantic Resort understands that amenities are not just extra features to highlight – they are a necessity for a well-rounded hospitality experience. You’ll experience complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi for your stay, as well as abundant parking on-site, access to a saltwater pool, fitness center and business center.

Notably for wedding events, you can also take advantage of a shuttle downtown. You and your guests can enjoy all that Newport has to offer, without needing to move your car! You can even rent the shuttle specifically for your wedding party! This makes it very convenient – and cost efficient – to get to the downtown or Cliff Walk area for a first look or just your photos.

Last, but certainly not least, the Atlantic Resort offers a spacious Bridal Suite room. It is one large, open-concept room with plenty of space for you and your wedding party to get ready for the day! All the rooms have a clean, modern look with many having the iconic light blue walls that are just *chef’s kiss* for your wedding morning photos!

Venue Spaces

Whether you envision an intimate gathering or a grand affair, the Atlantic Resort caters to weddings of all sizes. Its flexible event spaces, including elegant ballrooms and a stunning pavilion with panoramic ocean views, can be customized to match your vision. This venue is perfect for couples seeking a blend of seaside tranquility and upscale hospitality.

The South Lawn Pavilion is the most popular ceremony space at the Atlantic Resort. With waterfront views, it’s the perfect backdrop for saying “I do”! Many couples opt to host their cocktail hour within the tent and lawn, allowing guests to enjoy the sunset and ocean breeze before heading inside for the reception in either the Easton’s Pavilion or Atlantic Pavilion.

Easton’s Pavilion is the upper-level event venue, one of the two largest ballrooms at Atltantic Resort and a favorite for weddings. With 7,700 square feet, Easton’s Pavilion can accompany parties anywhere from 100-550. Indoor ceremonies are typically held on the dancefloor of the ballroom. Your guests will enjoy cocktail hour in a separate space on the same floor while the staff quickly sets up for your reception.

Couples that have a ceremony on the lawn often host their cocktail hour on one side of the Pavilion while the reception is held just beyond a wall of curtains – opening up to create one spacious reception area! Gold Chiavari chairs give an elegant vibe and the twinkling lights dangling from the ceiling above the dance floor are a highlight of this space, giving your first dance photos that little boost of romance.

The Atlantic Pavilion is the lower-level event venue and is the largest ballroom Atlantic Resort has to offer. This space can accompany parties anywhere from 100-600 in its 8,300 square feet! Similar to Easton’s Pavilion, couples often host their cocktail hour on one side of the Pavilion while the reception is held just beyond a wall of curtains – opening up to create one spacious reception area! Gold Chiavari chairs give an elegant vibe to the space.

The resort also houses five smaller event venues to host your rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and post-wedding brunches. Johnny’s Restaurant is perfect for post-wedding brunches or rehearsal dinners. Johnny’s offers an eclectic menu featuring fresh seafood and local fare. In the summer months, guests can enjoy the breathtaking views from the outdoor bar and patio.

The John Clark Room, with access to the Johnny’s Patio Bar, is a perfect option for your welcome party or rehearsal dinner. The room can host 80 people depending on your setup. The Sunset Room is a great space for any wedding-related party with its waterfront window views – your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, or post-wedding brunch! The room can host 60 people, depending on your setup. Finally, The Mariner Room is perfect for smaller private events and cocktails as it is adjacent to Johnny’s Bar. This room can host 20 people, depending on your setup.

To help with your planning, it’s important to note that costs can vary based on the time of year, the size of your guest list, and your specific needs. The Atlantic Resort provides customized wedding packages to suit a variety of budgets and preferences.

There are no fees involved in wedding receptions – no site fee and no cake-cutting fee. There may be a setup fee if you bring in your own pastries. There is a fee for outdoor ceremonies, however the Resort will supply all white garden chairs. Your bar can be upgraded to top shelf liquors for a fee.
