FAQs

so, you’ve got questions?

I’d be surprised if you didn’t! Here are some of the most common questions I get from couples. If you have any others, reach out above + I’ll address as much as I can!

My collections start at $3500. Each of my couples receives a custom collection after their consultation. If you’re interested in what that might look like for you, get in touch!

Since I am often customizing a collection for my couples based on what is most important to you, it’s tough for me to provide full pricing! A good reference point to have, though, is my base collection starts with 6 hours for $3500 and they go up from there.

I live in West Warwick, RI and travel all over the state, to Connecticut or southeast Massachusetts.

I’ve been to so many of New England’s beautiful venues! Having photographed at a particular venue certainly has it’s advantages – being familiar with the grounds makes for efficient photo time. However, if I haven’t been to a venue before, I always do my research before the wedding day. I will also arrive a bit early to scope the location out + get an idea of where I’ll want to take you for the best photos possible!

Travel is included for up to 50 miles from 02893. After that, mileage is charged at the current federal rate. In 2024, that is $.67 per mile. Some destinations will require unique quotes based on travel distance, airfare, and hotels.

I describe my photography style as genuine, lively, and emotional. That means I’m allowing majority of your wedding to unfold naturally + capturing the story that’s being told. I keep an eye out for all the emotions being expressed to create meaningful memories for you.

My editing style is enhanced true to life. That means your photos will look very close to what our eyes were seeing on your wedding day, but I do take great care to smooth skin tones, make colors pop, and ensure every detail looks its best.

I estimate about 75-100 photos per hour depending on how many special moments you have in your wedding day.

Your wedding photos will be delivered in a private online gallery where you can download them in small and high resolution, order small prints, and share with all your favorite people!

You will receive your gallery within 8-10 weeks of the wedding. Depending on the season, maybe sooner! For fall weddings, I will always do my best to deliver, at minimum, a generous amount of previews before Christmas, if not the full gallery.

Not a problem! Every collection comes with full unrestricted printing rights. You can download to anywhere you want, print them as big as you want with any lab you want. They are your memories. However, I can not guarantee any level of quality outside of the professional lab I work with.

Wedding albums are a cornerstone of my couples’ experience with me. I have carefully selected a premium print lab to collaborate with. Our Heirloom Albums are made from premium materials, with seamless spreads and limitless personalization possibilities.

A first draft of your wedding album is ready at your Premiere, about 10 weeks after your wedding. Typically, designs are finalized at the Premiere + orders are placed the next business day. Depending on the current production + shipping times of the lab, you could have your album in your hands as soon as 5 months after the wedding!

I aim to photograph about 12 weddings each year. This way, I have adequate time for rest + family which help me be a better photographer for you! But it also means I have more time to be there for you, resulting in a better experience.

Heaven forbid, I – or someone I love – need to be pretty much on the death bed for me to not show up to your wedding. However, having a backup plan never hurt anyone! If this should happen, I have a handful of photographer friends who are always happy to jump in + cover at a moment’s notice. I would – and do – trust them with my own photos and know they will create the same quality memories as I would.

I will typically line up all my second photographers in the first month or two of each year. I have a handful of photographer friends who create the same quality memories as I do for a seamless, cohesive look in all your photos. If it would make you feel more assured, I can send along a gallery of theirs, but more often than not, my couples trust my colleagues.

I have a Nikon D750 and Nikon z6ii. I primarily use my Sigma Art lenses – 35mm and 85mm – although, I will use my Nikon 50mm or 70-200mm when needed. I also have multiple Godox flashes for my camera and off-camera to properly light all different venues.

Always always always! I have multiple cameras which all have two memory card slots for an extra copy. I have an array of lenses should one break. I have multiple flashes and stands to light your venue. And, of course, I have more batteries + memory cards than I have ever really needed for one wedding day. I’m prepared for anything!
